WOODEN POLISH CAN BE EASILY MADE AT HOME

If your furniture is not looking as shiny and it looks as an old one, then you can make yourself an inexpensive, solvent free and effective wooden polish simply at home by following the steps below.

STEP 1

Collect two and half ounces of olive oil, one and half ounces of coconut oil, one ounce beeswax, one ounce carnauba wax and four ounces of distilled water.
You also need a double boiler, a measuring cup and a hand mixer.

STEP 2

Melt the oils and waxes together in a double boiler over medium heat.

STEP 3

Stop heating.

STEP 4

The heated mixture should be poured into the distilled water. Then mix with a hand mixer till the mixture is creamy and thick.

STEP 5

Dab some of the cream onto a soft cotton rag and rub into the furniture until the oils are worked into the wood.

STEP 6

Store it in a jar. This polish can be stored for six months to one year.
